It's pretty simple ... show up, train and win.
Yasuragi Dojo will be adding raffle tickets throughout the month of September. There are many ways to increase your chances of winning by receiving more tickets. Here are the following ways to receive more tickets to win the raffle.
5 TICKETS REWARD
- Leave an online review. For every review you inform us you've left, we'll ad 5 tickets with your name. Please advise us when you leave a review. >> Link to Google Review
- Refer a friend. Every time you bring a guest to the dojo, we ad 5 tickets with your name.
- Post an image. Any image or video of you training will be awarded with 5 tickets.
1 TICKET REWARD
- Show up. Simply show up to class, or online, you'll receive one raffle ticket.
- Share a post. Simply sharing one of our posts with your community will get you 1 ticket. Easy, right?

Bikenjutsu Workshop
6:000 PM - 6:45 PM
Although used as a general term to refer to swordsmanship native to Japan, in modern times, kenjutsu is more often used to refer to the specific aspect of swordsmanship dealing with partnered sword training. The prefix Bi (秘) refers to the origin of specific knowledge that was in olden times was considered highly secretive.
We will be training two of the root forms of the Kukishin Ryū Bikenjutsu. These techniques will be trained in the orthodox method that they have been preserved for generations. Lesson will include free downloads for those who attend.

Jōjutsu Workshop
7:00 PM - 7:45 PM
The Jō is a foundantional weapon within the collective known at Bōjutsu, stick techniques. The Jōjutsu uniqueness is found in it's fast movement in combination with sword attack defenses and disarms.
This will be a non-stop session of kihon followed by two kata of the Kukishin Ryū Jōjutsu. Show up with a Jō and be ready to move! Lesson will include free downloads for those who attend.

Koppōjutsu Workshop
8:00 PM - 8:45 PM
From the Kotō Ryū, literally meaning “Tiger knocking down technique” it's technique is accurately translated as “Bone breaking technique.” This hard style of taijutsu emphasizes the use of linear movement to attack the structural integrity of an opponent’s body.
Join us for a workshop diving into two of the intense forms of this fighting method. Bring water, this is going to be intense. Lesson will include free downloads for those who attend.

Tantōjutsu Workshop
9:00 PM - 9:45 PM
Tantōjutsu is the term for knife fighting with the use of the Japanese tantō. Worn by the samurai class of feudal Japan, the tantō dates to the Heian period (794-1185), when it was mainly used as a weapon but evolved in design over the years to become more ornate. Tantō were used in traditional martial arts and saw a resurgence of use in the West in the 1980s as the design made its way to America and is a common blade pattern found in modern tactical knives.
We will be going deep into the core fundamentals of Japanese knife fighting, speed drills and cutting technique, followed by two forms. Lesson will include free downloads for those who attend.

The Grand Prize Raffle darwing will be picked at random during the 15 minutes between workshops. Winner the Japan Trip will join Yasuraig Dojo, flight, travel and accommodations paid for (not including food and personal expenses).
